The Working Man's Guide to the Nintendo DS

Office fun
So you want your buddies to go in with you to form a DS posse at work? We investigate several possible ways you could worm the dual screen wonder into the work place.
We thought getting some fresh air during lunch would be an ideal time for recreational Pictochatting and we were right. It's a fun way to just goof around and send drawings (mostly dirty) that illicit the most guffaws. It can get old after a while, and you end up looking like a bunch of nerds as this picture clearly illustrates. |
Many offices ban the use of instant messaging software so having a DS nearby can be a good workaround. In practice, the sounds of messaging are too annoying to have on all time so if you don't look over at your DS, well, you'll just miss a bunch of messages. So, another strike out here. |
It's like those ads where everyone in the conference room has a PDA or tablet PC because they are card-carrying members of the new paperless office revolution. Well, viva la revolution! We managed a fun brainstorming session where everyone messaged ideas for feature articles, but ran into problems when trying to transcribe all the good stuff since there is currently no way to email or save Pictochat message sessions. To sum it up, bringing it to meetings is not advised. |
