Interview with My Chemical Romance
My Chemical Romance, along with Lost Prophets and Story of the Year, were recently in town for the Nintendo Fusion Tour. Aside from the artists, roadies, and journalists, most of the crowd looked like it was breaking curfew (meanwhile, the bartenders were bored to tears). In spite of the "All Ages" vibe, Gerard (lead singer of My Chemical Romance) earned bonus points when he opened the set by screaming "How the f--- are you, San Francisco!" Nintendo and the "F" word, together at last thanks to the magic of rock and roll! While neither the staff nor attendees seemed to know that was sponsoring the event, My Chemical Romance was stoked about The Big N's involvement. We caught up with Gerard backstage at the Warfield Theater in San Francisco before their set and talked about the tour, the band's video gaming habits, and the popularity of music in games.
